Postcards From Egypt

Postcards From Egypt is a personal series inspired by the places I grew up loving — a small visual love letter to home.
I wanted to capture Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and more through a nostalgic lens, pairing vintage postcard aesthetics with modern digital design. Each card reimagines iconic Egyptian landmarks in a soft, retro style: faded textures, warm colours, and big, playful typography that feels like something you’d find tucked inside an old travel journal.

This project began as a way to reconnect with my roots and celebrate the parts of Egypt that shaped me. Designing the postcards let me mix storytelling with visual design, creating something sentimental but still graphic and bold.
